I know I am new here, but some of the mods people list can't make huge gians. As for NOS or othe power adders, can give the our cars quick times becasue our cars aren't heavy. Well I 'll be around. PLus the weight to Hp ratio helps determine times.

Sorry guys, but Turbo1g is tellin the truth. I chill with him almost every night and I know for a fact that his car is as fast as he claims. I know it's hard to believe, but this car is extremely fast. Can't wait to see ya in the 12's.

IT all depends upon the driver's skill, just not anybody can go and run top times. People fail to recoginize that skill is more important in driving than just stopping on the gas. If the guys can't get the 99gt 5 speed into 13.9, then they sucked. I have witness dozen of high 13 sec runs on stock (k/n airfilter with airsilencer removed) with the 5 speed. I have no doubt that Turbo1g car is fast and it probably almost a 1000lbs lighter than a stang or Z28ss. I have seen 00 trans am ram air run 15's becasue the driver couldn't lauch. If th guys whjo are diving the SS can't get that car in to low 13's the nthey shoould have their car taken away. Because anybody can stomp on the gas when some one pulls upo behind you the nyou feel like yeah I smoked him. But head to head from a dead start is a different story.

I've posted stories saying i've beaten a GSR or civic Si which are true, and had stupid fools say "thats bs, post some time slips before you shoot off like that". Well I did, its not my fault those stupid bastards can't drive worth a ****. I don't give a flying f**k how much HP any car has.....its all about the driver.
So some of you who are argueing are basically saying, if you saw a geo metro go up against a corvette at the strip....the light goes green....the metro takes off, the vette takes off...misses 2nd and blows the transmission and the metro finishes first that he didn't beat the corvette?
