Same place as last time....Oh well, just checking!

And are you still dealing with that guy on eBay? Did he finally send you the right payment and everything? Didnt he also say he wanted a couple or even all 4 of the blowers?

The situation is that I listed the blowers on ebay and said I'd accept paypal as payment as long you didn't send a credit card or e-check payment. They require you to upgrade your account and charge you fees on EVERY transaction.

The guy wins the auction and submits payment instantly through paypal. I get a letter an hour later from Paypal saying I'd have to upgade accounts to accept his payment...WTF?? So I assume he submits a credit card payment or something I don't know anything about. I refund his money and send him a copy of the email I received with an apology and explination that I'm unwilling to upgrade my account. I offer to pay for all of his fees, supplies and stamp costs to ship me a money order. I even go as far as to allow him to send a personal check. He gets furious with me and tells me I'm ripping him off and he sent money and wants his blower right now. He doesn't believe I've refunded the money although it was done instantly. He tells me he will not do anything else unless I ship him the blower COD.

I was going to ship it out COD (i'm VERY opposed to this) however I've been covering my *** from the storm all day.

He's been a jerk and frankly I don't want to do business with him at all. I'm going to sell him this one and that's probably it. He was trying to "jew me down" well below my buying price on the others and there's no way I'd sell them at a loss. I shouldn't be selling them at my cost. But i'm doing it to help speed things up for everyone else.

Bet you he puts them right back on ebay for sale separately. who needs 4 blowers, unless you are doing a project like you.

he runs a porsche shop. they use them on their racing porsches.

either way I'm going to get negative feedback and I've bent over backwards to work with him on this. I hate ebay.

The problem is with a basic paypal account you cant accept over 500$ a month. But if you upgrade your gonnag et a percentage deducted from the price so you lose money from paypal. With expensive stuff you just deal with money orders and such

I've been lurking this thread for a while....What a mess !! If I was Matty, I would've refunded everyone's money and said forget the whole deal a long time ago !!!

I swear if I hear about one more person giving him crap about pricing on this kit I'm going berserker logan style (snikty-snik) on all of you guys and using my super-mod powers on you.

Everyone acts like this is the only thing going on in his life.

I don't mind pricing questions, I don't mind AC questions. Wha REALLY bothers me are the suppliers I'm dealing with that have been screwing me over for so long now.

I've done NOTHING but stick my neck out for Wagner, I've even run Group buys for him at no profit to myself just because I like the guy and think he's a great welder. How does he repay me? By taking YOUR money and running basically. I paid him almost $600 for 1 set of pipes, a complete set of silicone and clamps and for the "jig" needed to produce other sets. He was supposed to bend me a set of pipes for approval...when I test fit them and they work then he's supposed to bend the other sets. He sent me a set....they were GARBAGE. hell the inlet pipe was even welded...not bent at all. I could've done that. They were made out of stainless steel instead of the lightweight aluminum like what I sent him. I STILL have not received my couplers and clamps. His excuse was that his shop was robbed and his laptop with my info was taken....this doesn't matter at all when Miller has spent 3 months calling his shop everyday and leaving messages with our info.... People I consider friends screwing with me usually get some harsh treatment. I don't think I deserve to be treated this way when I've stuck my neck out for him as much as I have.

and of course powerdyne

They sell these larger blowers that are "identical" to the original units that don't fit at all. When I try to return them they want to charge me $300 in return fees for UNOPENED merchandise. When I tell them I need the correct blowers they tell me they'll make them for me new if I buy 10 at once. Other than that I have to pay almost 3 times what I was originally promised.

It's been nothing but headaches and for those that know me personally my hair is actually falling out! I shouldn' t be bald at 27. This stress and worry is ridiculous. I made a promise to produce these kits at my cost and thats what I intend to do. If I can't get this resolved before long I'm going to have to call it quits. Switching vendors and starting over is going to push the price so high no'one will be interested in it. If I were a big time company with buying power and a popular name i'd have no problem making these kits. Being a one-man-army is tough.

Mac: I'm not giving him crap, but it's been a while since the last post, so I decided to bump it and just check for any news....

Damn Matty, that sounds like a bunch of crap. I'd be pretty pissed too! Doing a little side project like this shouldnt cause you any stress...As much as I would love this kit I wouldnt blame you for calling it quits after all the sh*t youve already put up with thusfar. It really sucks being lied to and being sold crappy parts, getting the wrong stuff from Wagner and especially from Powerdyne, they said they would fit and they didnt, and they still charge you money for restocking and all that nonsense when its kind of their fault....

Just stick with it and do what you can in a reasonable manner, hopefuly it'll all work out eventually and you can "WOMP the world"(that would be a good slogan lol ), but if not, I for one wouldnt hold it against you for calling it quits....Stay tough....

Scott.
