Matty its gettin old now with wagner. Its the same old story everytime I hear his name. He gave me the same **** when i wanted a custom catback pipe from him. He gave me the run around for 3 months before i just said forget you i will go somewhere else. I dont know if he is just too busy or doesnt care but either way you have to just drop him.

i agree 100%. Here's the rub. Wagner agreed to buy the material, bend the pipings, weld the fittings and provide the silicone and clamps for appx $315-350 per kit. Just the metal will cost me about $125. The silicone and clamps is about $120 per kit. Mandrel bending will cost and arm and leg from a stranger IF they're willing to do it. Most shops will not touch a single work order or even 10 at a time....small job shops here want 50 orders at once to even be close to affordable.
If I have to cut and weld all of the piping myself it'll take FOREVER. I'm not good at welding aluminum. My welder won't even do it. When I tryI burn right through it. I have to pay a shop here in town to do it. he does fantastic work but charges a fortune. You get what you pay for. I could chop together some "less-than-stellar" stainless piping but I'm not really interested in putting my name on something unless I'd be proud of it.

i don't know what "strap in" means. I just need everyone to bare with me while I either get these things finished or work out some reasonable solution for everyone.

I think everyone on all the forums should put out an APB for a good, relatively inexpensive aluminum welder...there's gotta be somebody who can do this...

I have a great welder here locally however he's not cheap. Personally for my own personal stuff I'd rather pay top dollar for the quality but I also pigeon-holed myself by saying I'd keep the price down to a bare minimum.

yeah, I'm still on lockdown....i haven't been there in weeks. This next 2 weeks are my busiest of the year so I'm gonna kinda dissappear until I get back from San Diego. After that I have to go back to the hospital for a few days so I'll drop in when I can.
