The fmu I use is a BEGi unit which is the best RRFMU ont he market...vortech fmu's run about $100 this one is $385. The pipes were going to be cut and welded from ebay intakes. Now they are all one-piece mandrel bent polished aluminum custom bent by Wagner...

Quality costs money and I'd rather bump the price than sell something I wouldn't fell confident putting my name on.
Holy crap, sounds like a lot of good things are going on! Cant wait to see updated pics and such. And I totally agree, I'd rather shell out the extra cash for a quality product than have it be crap.

Nate, you think you're excited? My car's sitting here ready to hit the chopping block the day this stuff gets in.

Matty, I noticed today that the protegegarage.com website still has the blower listed as a bd-600. Might wanna get Ken to change that.

Yeah, Ken will make all of the changes we need to at one time. He's just got the info up early to get a little buzz about it.

Miller will need to get the ac drained prior to bringing it to me but once he does It won't take me 30 minutes to have everything out of the car and ready for re-building. Deconstruction is the easy part!

yeah, I can add videos to the info thread as soon as I can find someone to host them for me. They're not real big so it shouldn't be a problem.

Boxes are fun!
What pieces do you have so far? Also I was thinkin. Since the SC pulley isnt gonna need any adjusting between the bd-600 and bd-11a why not send them out to get machined now so your machinist doesnt have everything to do at once? Just a suggestion

because I'm shipping to canada and It'll cost a Lot more for me to make multiple shipments and pay taxes/tarrifs on it for each box. Also, I have to test out everything on his car so I know it'll work well without problems before i finalize everything.

Measure twice, cut once!
