dont, you just haven't been keeping up with the progress.

An intercooler isn't needed. Even if you did decide to run the blower up to the point where it needed a little cooling I'd recommend either a small nitrous shot or water injection.

So after this batch, thats it? I'm willing to bet after you've got 10 proven kits on the street, you'll have a lot easier customers. Right now you've got a kit that was tested for, what, 500 miles (?) before your motor mounts went. And you've also got some people upset that they gave away $1500-$2000 (?) and haven't received anything yet.

Is there anyone else out there with a kit? Either way, you've got to expect some people getting cautious and wanting their money back. Its just the way things go when you're a small-time vendor and things aren't going as well as expected.

I hope you'll continue to make more kits, maybe next spring when FI is on everyone's minds again.

the problem isn't with the lack of people wanting the product. It's 90% due to the difficult time I'm having getting componants from other manufacturers. Something comes up and I work around it and something else comes up and it delays the previous solution, etc etc.

I'm very understanding of people being fed up with the wait. I'm probably the most fed up. As I stated earlier everything can be done within the week and ready to ship ASAP but it'll cost a fortune. I'm doing everything I can to keep cost down and keep the sponsored guys from having to send in more money.

nope, someone lied to you. What I said was that if I can sell these last 3 blowers outright (think I've already got a second sold) then we'll be set right now without having to wait for a 10th.

p.s. just for giggles I've been reading a lot of "Focus Fanatic" magazine and it appears that their budget supercharger kit is $2999 and makes 60whp @ 7psi. I'm shooting for the exact same price point but 7psi will most likely be an additonal 100whp. If anything the current 4.5psi is already 60whp.

....Its like music to my ears! If the engine can safely handle 7psi, that'll be an easy doubling of HP to the wheels! Thats a beautiful thing.....

hahah, he's telling you what you wanna hear!

p.s. 7psi will be no problems. From what I've seen 7psi will be 200whp-ish which is more than safe on our internals as long as detonation is controled

So if you call it quits or something, and I were to source the proper supercharger sometime in the future, would you be able to provide me with the proper brackets, pulley, pipes etc for some cost? Just curious. I never have money, but if I can clear my debt like I've been working to do, next spring should be a different story. Thats why I'm hoping theres a chance you'll be making more in the future.

what will most likely happen is I'll have a big GB of say 10 kits for a lower price of about $2999. After that if someone wants a "one-off" kit it'll probably cost more like other SC kits... $4K+.

as in my post earlier...

not yet. I think I've found a way to keep from spending quite so much on the blowers but it requires me to sell these 3 I have left. I was able to sell one on ebay but the buyer is a jackass and is sending in funny payments and crap. I've got them listed for sale on ebay and if Im able to sell the remaining 3 on there we'll be all good to go.

The problem really comes in when I have to return these blowers to powerdyne for a credit. they start charging fees and jacking prices on me. If I can sell them outright, no fees, no price jacking.
