UPDATES

I finally got in touch with Wagner this morning. Someone in his shop was not forwarding his messages and this is the first he had heard of my issues. He is personally going to work on them first thing next week and will rush them to me as soon as he's done.

As for the blowers....here's where it gets tricky. Keep in mind I'm not a major company or vendor. I'm a singluar guy trying to make a FI kit. In doing so I've hit many snags and been jerked around by many manufacturers and vendors. I will be getting a 100% refund on the 4 blowers I've already purchased. I then will have to make another order for the correct blowers. The problem is that these units have to be special made or ordered in bulk for me to get any kind of decent pricing. Here's the kicker....I have to purchase 10 blowers at once...the 4 for the sponsored guys, 1 for me and 5 others. Once this order of 10 units is placed turn around time should be next to nothing. From this point forward all kits sold in the future will have to be sold in GB's of 10 in order to keep costs down. I wish you guys saw my profit margin so you'd know how little I'm making on this. There is a reason why places like Vortech, ATi charge so much for their kits....I should do the same! I just wanna put these out there for people to enjoy. I'm not looking to get on this stuff. Just make a nice product people will like.

I'm going to be starting a new WOMP thread (as if there weren't enough already)...It's going to list the names and deposits of anyone that wants a kit. When the list hits 10 the kits are made.

Sounds like pretty good news! Good to know that your getting refunded for those 4 blowers! It also sounds like you'll be able to get the correct blowers fairly easily as long as it's in GB's of 10, so thats good too! So it seems like your really close to "Go-Time" so I better stop spending and start saving!

It's a lot to ask for $1000 deposit on something like this but I think the benefits far out-weigh the cons.

The $1000 buys your supercharger...thats my cost. The retail on that unit is $2209. Anyone could pay the $1000 and then turn around and re-sell the blower for a profit. I don't mind. I just need to order 10 or I get none. Hell, if anyone wanted to sell a blower for a profit like that I'll even ship it directly to whoever you sell it to that way you dont have to pay for double shipping or wait an extra week.

After placing the deposit you are NOT required to purchase the rest of the kit. You WILL get the blower shipped to you directly to do with it whatever you wish. If you decide to buy a kit later on all you have to do is pay for the rest of the pieces. I'm REAL flexible. This is perfect for someone who doesn't have all the money upfront but wants to be assured they get a kit when they do get all of the money together.

Scotty, if you're serious about wanting one this may be your best chance....

Dont tempt me!!! lol......I'm pretty serious about getting this, I just wanna save some more money first and I also wanna wait till around september to make sure I'll be able to deal with no A/C through the dog days of summer and wait till the 95+ degree days with 90%+ humidity set in during august!

I think if I can make it 2 summers in Alabama without ac at 265lbs then just about anyone can. It's really not that bad unless you're just in direct sunlight and sitting still.

The only reason I'm getting alittle pushy now is because no'one can get ANY blowers until I get 10 pre-sold. I've basically got 5 ready to go now, 1 more tonight possibly.....I don't know when the next time I'll get 10 more buyers together will be. You could always be on your own and try to find yourself a used blower off ebay or something later on if you buy the kit without headunit....

would it bolt right up to the 1.8? i really want to supercharge my car and i may have the money but i don't know when i could get the rest for the rest of the kit. i don't think I could put it on my car right now anyway because I wrecked it a while back and haven't gotten it fixed yet because I'm trying to buy all the parts first. I really wouldn't want to miss this chance of getting one just in case you couldn't get 10 more buyers when I have my car fixed.

yeah in theory it'll bolt right up. I've not personally tried it but everything else is the same so I don't see why it wouldn't.

The good thing about leaving the deposit upfront is that I'm going to turn around and immediatly send you the blower so you're not "out" anything. If something comes up you can sell it for a profit or to someone else wanting a blower. I'm not going to force anyone to buy a kit from me if they want to put a deposit down. This just ensures that when you ARE ready you'll have a blower ready to go.

If you're serious about leaving a deposit let me know and I'll work out payment arrangements with you and answer any questions you may have,.

I've really thought about this and it does kind of makes sense and theirs no real reason why NOT to get it now....I need to check my stocks and see if maybe I can tap into them, they havent really moved more than 50 cents in the past couple months so it wont hurt if I take out a $1000 now and work it off and put it back later. Give me a couple days and I'll try to get you a definative answer on whether I can do this now or if I have to wait....

...And if the list does fill up but I know I can get the money, do you think you could wait(because it takes some time to actually get the money) and possibly have 11 people on one list?

Hey a couple things...I'm pretty close to actually taking the money out, hopefuly today(7-22) or tomorrow, than its just waiting for me to actualy get it! I admit that since its going to be a big purchase, I questioned it a lot but I just read some older posts on this thread and I was reassured by peoples impressions of it and I cant wait!

And two small questions...Still only 6 spots have been taken? And I remember when you ran on the dyno you had a HP per psi type number and I was wondering if you remember what that was?
Thanks.
Scott.

I spoke with another person tonight who will be driving over from GA to hand deliver a money order on saturday. That makes 7, you would make 8.

I went from a baseline dyno of 98whp to 158whp....60whp on 4.5psi with NO tuning. That = 13whp per psi. I do feel that someone using the BEGi FMU with better tuning will get another 10-15whp out of it easily. That should bump the percentage to at least 15whp:1psi.

Alright thanks, I'll try to be as quick as possible with getting you the money!

Also what do you think you could expect with a tuned haltech?

The haltech is more for someone looking to do big power.......I actually think for daily street cars the BEGi would be better.

I'm expecting to run about 250whp on my car with stock bottom end and final tuning. I've got ported head+cams coming in so that'll help a lot.

Hey, Some good news, I can cash in some of my stocks to do this, but like I told you before, it takes time to actually receive the money...so I'm wondering if you would allow me to give you like a $200-300 deposit until I got the rest of the money and as soon as I recieve the stock money it will all be sent directly to you! You can hold the blower until you get your money, which you will, without holding up the time it takes for you to get your own! I really hope you will let me do this because thats the only way I could do this right now! Hope to hear from you soon!
Thanks,
Scott.
