nope. I think Wagner is going to cut me a deal on them and since I won't have to buy as many couplers and clamps I may break even.

p.s. I'm also going to include spark plugs after I do some testing on them with my car. how's that for complete!

[QUOTE=Roddimus Prime]
I'm also going to be doing installs for anyone who wants to purchase a kit for $150. This job will take almost 6-8 hours to do and judging by custom shops rates should cost about $450 or so. A local shop here charges $200 to install a wet nitrous kit that takes them less than 45 minutes. If you do choose this option you will be saving a lot of money. Shipping for this kit will most likely be $85+ due to it's weight, size and amount of packaging materials. You won't have to pay any of this if you're having it picked up from me. I'll have everything here and will just spend the day installing it rather than packaging, catalogging, shipping, etc. If there were enough interested parties we could even have a "supercharger instal" meet where everyone gets together at my place and I walk you through it step by step and you keep your shipping cost and installation fee's. This only applies to 3 or more so....QUOTE]

I think road trip would be at hand :-D

cost will be right around my first quote. Give or take $100-200.

In all honesty I'd like to come down on the price but Powerdyne is telling me that they are going to RAISE the price through them. Their supercharger kits retail for $2900-$4500. The more orders I can get at one time the better pricing I'll be able to do for everyone.

I feel ya man. I'm on a permanent holding pattern until DaveB fulfills his promise to me that he made 4 months ago. I understand he has had set backs and illness but I'm being VERY patient and 4 months for a few small pieces that are NOT beyond his skills is a little sad.

DaveB has decided that he will not be supercharging his P5 as it will be his son's daily driver in a few years. By saying this he's not willing to trial fit these pieces on his car because he's unwilling to drain/recharge the AC system. He told me if I sent him all of my brackets and compressor he could draw it up in no time. I've sent him everything 2 months ago.

As of our last speaking (monday-11-1-04) Dave has told me he would find some time on one of his lathes next week. He hopes to have the pulleys and trial brackets ready for me at that time so I can trial fit everything.

Dave says he is very much wanting to finish this for me but he seems to be very pre-occupied with work and his weekend racing. I have volunteered to drive form Alabama to Ohio so he can finish this trial on my car and he seems to not want to do that. I really hope he's able to get these done next week and he can fulfill a promise he made to me over 4 months ago. Dave is a good guy and a great machinest.

I went today to visit 4 different local machine shops in my area. Needless to say they do not want to work with me unless I'm buying in AT LEAST 20 sets at a time.

just an estimate for the pulleys was about $250 just to have the design drawn up and programmed into the computer. An individual pulley would cost me appx. $200. If I were to buy 5-10 it would go down to about $75.

Shop time average has been $75/hr. They expect it to take 3-4 days of design so figure about $600/day for about a week. Anyone got $3K they feel like loaning me??
