shaun, heck the pics....it's all gone!! woohoo, DaveB has had it all for almost a week now. Just waiting for him finish the brackets up and get them back to me.

Vielster. The AEM has a lot of features and I've seen t running, used it, somewhat tuned on it....it's VERY impressive. From what I HEAR...the Haltech E6X is a more difficult to tune with. Apparently they now use a windows based tuning style that only requires using arrow keys to make adjustments. Until mine comes in and is running I won't know for sure but I have used the AEM and it was STUNNING. Also, the AEM does "auto-mapping" and I don't think the Haltech does. With the AEM we threw in 440cc injectors a larger intercooler and upped the boost without making any changes to the maps on the AEM....we selected AUTO-MAP and let the car idle for 3 minutes. After 3 minutes we took the car down the street and did 2 3rd gear pulls to redline. That was it. The car automatically knew what we had done and adjusted for it. It was VERY impressive.

that's OLD news Natey! sheesh, pic from the dead!

I could point out several problems with this set-up but only one positive....it looks BADASS!

look at the header....nuff said.

they have AC ...yeah....you'll need it since you don't have powersteering anymore.

no EMS,...none....nothing to control fuel at all.

COST = $5500

yes, I will provide an intake with the kit and will more than likely use the Monsterflow filter if I'm able to find enough units at the good price I got mine for. Monsterflow is a GREAT filter and perfect for FI.

Haltech should arrive tomorrow afternoon (while I'm out of town).

I'm still waiting for word from DaveB about the last bracket and pulleys. He told me that he'd take some time this weekend to finish the powersteering relocation bracket and get it to me so I can mount it and test fit it. He already finished the blower bracket but he feels can make a sturdier design so he's going to try a different set-up. I'm anticipating this to be 100% in my car in about 2 weeks.

I hate not being able to control the time schedule of my own project but I trust Dave's work and if he tells me he wants to work on it for a few more weeks I'm going to let him.

It's a supercharger. The belt drives the impeller and it sucks in air. A heatshield would be nice, though.
