Hells Yes

Man....didn't think i'd ever be psyched about 9-11 rolling around, but I tell you I can't wait to see the dyno sheets for this. So...just for clarification, this will be usable on the stock block with no forged internals, but with decreased boost? (4-7psi) Are you planning to have dyno charts for different boost levels 4,6,8.... so that us stock people know what we can get without changing out our internals? I'm just psyched that it's something I can get now for a decent boost in HP then change out my internals later and get another swift kick in the *** (if that's how it's looking)!

Screw a warantee, give me speed!

no dogs please....my wife's cats wouldn't like that too much!

Yes, everything is designed for a stock block--regardless of boost. If there were someone running stock CR on a forged shortblock who wanted this kit I would sell it at cost so we could find the upper limits of this blower and the stock fuel system.

To put this in perspective try to imagine the P5 with the 3.0L 220hp V6 from the Mazda6. THATS what it should feel like.

p.s. I know nothing of what boost levels this will run...I only know compressor impeller speeds. I use the known impeller speed and create a pulley based on that figure. This blower may make a maximum of 12psi so I cut the impeller speed in half to get ABOUT 6psi...until it's actually on the car and running on the dyno I wont know what the psi will be. You may be getting a 4.2psi kit...or a 6.5psi kit...the numbers I quoted earlier were estimates based on powerdynes pulleys they make in house.

The plan is to test it the rest of this year and they'll go on sale Jan-1-05. Powerdyne will be advertising them on their website as THEIR kit and in exchange I have been given the oppurtunity/task of designing all of their import blower kits. They are shipping me a Scion xB after the new year so I can build the kit on the car for the president of the company to show off. I personally will also be desiging a kit for the new 2.3L engines in the 3s/6i. This will most likely use an eaton blower though. (but dont hold me to it...powerdyne has been VERY good to me recently and may sway me over to their side)

I'm VERY frugal and I hound manufacturers for every penny I can get. Also, I've mentioned from the begining that I wasn't doing to this to get rich, just to provide a few kits for those who want it. I'm hoping to use any money made from this to help open my own shop here next summer when my wife graduates. At that point then I will be required to make some extra dough to keep the doors open but right now it's not my full time job.

p.s. for those who were interested in me financing the kits I'm NOT going to be able to do it. It would require me to be of "substantial business stature" like a dealership or what not and I'm just not. Sorry but I tried.

One option that just showed up on paypal was financing through GE capital- perhaps if you offered the s/c through a private buy it now auction the same could apply for those that were interested- not sure exactly how it works, but it's another option

yeah, i thought about that earlier today when I was cruising ebay. The problem is that I'd have to add in all associated fee's and so forth. I'm sure we'll all be able to work something out once the kits are available for sale.

NOthing auto-specific just yet....DaveB is mounting everything in his car as we speak to finish up the brackets and pulleys. Once he's done he'll send it all back to me and I'll finish welding up all of the plumbing and send him his kit so he can start testing the auto while I'm testing the 5spd.

His car will be running the BEGi FMU and VC and mine will be running the full haltech. There will be a big power difference but Dave actually races his car frequently so he'll have a very good idea of how much speed you'll pick up with this.
