Not to thread jack, but I used to get notification via email when new posts were made; now, I get nothing. Any reason that might be happening??? (It's not just this thread, it's any thread on here)

But I have subscribed - or I was, at least. I'll have to check that. I used to get notification, but ever since the domain name change (protegeclub to mazda3club), I haven't got any. Do I have to subscribe again????

Anyhow, back on topic... So, where are things at??? Inquiring minds want to know.

still working on everything. These larger blowers require more tinkering to fit properly. I'm hoping I can still use them. They look amazing.

you never called me for you very own personal update.

The situation is the BD-11a's are just not going to fit in the space provided. In order for me to conitnue to use these blwoers that I have currently I'll have to start over from scratch, new brackets, new piping, etc. I don't see that happening. Right now I'm waiting for Powerdyne to get with me about some new BD--600 blowers.

I've been using factory refurbs with a warranty for a cheaper price however P-dyne doesn't have many used bd-600's. They substitued the 11a's saying there was very little difference. This isn't true. My options are to wait and look for used/rebuildable bd-600's or pay the extra and have new 600's shipped out.

It's your call. If you want a new bd-600 you can get with me and I'll get you one but it's about $400-425 more.

Basically everything is boiling down to blower availability.

$400 more for new ones? No one ever told us we were getting refurbished blowers. I dont think thats very cool. I know you were trying to keep these cheap, but used blowers? come on now. I know im not the only one thats pissed about this. I was told back in march(when I paid) the prototype was made, everything was all good. I sent money in good faith thinking I would have something to show for it by summer. I knew it wasnt going to be instantaneous, but 3-4 months?

I know its not your fault Matt. I'm not saying it is.

I'm just venting some much held in anger about this project and lack of anything said in the past week.

Anything new? Any luck finding us blowers? How about the piping? Did that get sorted out?

Any sort of updates.. even that you are trying.. tell us everything will be alright. this is all a bad dream. Im going to wake up doing 14's at the track..

Yes, I told EVERYONE from the very begining I was using powerdyne factory refurb's that came with a 1yr warranty. They are 100% brand new internals only the exterior case is used. This has never been a secret from anyone who can read any of my posts.

If you don't feel comfortable using a supercharger with new internals and a 1yr warramty from the manufacturer you can front up the extra $400 and get a 2yr warranty from them instead. Is that extra 1yr warranty worth $400 to you? It's not to me. That's why I chose to use the refurb's. Now the delay we're facing is because No'one has any used BD-600's to get rebuilt. While this is frustrating, it's a good sign that these last a while. What may end up happening is that you sponsored guys will either have to wait out finding the used blowers or just front up the extra cash for the new ones. No'one likes fronting up more money for stuff. I understand that. I want you to think REAL hard about this though. You've spent almost a third of what a new turbo kit would cost. $400 for the new blower is still a lot less than what you would've spent buying something else.

Also, I WILL be needing more money from all of you guys over the next few weeks. I only estimated what my cost would be to build you guys kits. I've had to make small changes here and there and get parts from different people. I promise you I'm still selling you everything at my cost (and in some cases I'm even paying for stuff out of my pocket). I know this is getting very frustrating for you. It's frustrating for all of us but in all honesty it's really out of my hands unless you want to pay the extra for the new blowers. If you do it would be a matter of 2-3 weeks to get everything else finalized. (pending hearing back from wagner on the pipes).

I think you should just relax a little and understand that this is a unique situation from buying a product from a store. I'm working on this every day and I'm not sitting here with my thumbs up my butt.

All I wanted to hear.

If I front the extra $400, can I get my kit? or would I have to wait for everyone else?

I'd imagine you could get a new blower and the rest of us could wait for refurbs, or whatever the case was. I personally don't have the money for a new one and won't for a while so I'm most likely not going that route.

I have spoken with several higher ups at powerdyne and was given an offer that is unacceptable in my eyes. I was originally told the new blowers could be had for $1000+shipping and when I mentioned returning these bd-11as for credit towards the new 600's they told me that I would need an additional $475 per unit. I'm still negotiating with them to get the best possible prices on these new units but it' sad to say that we'll most likely be waiting a bit on some refurbs. Every company I've spoken with has put down every bit of my contact info so when they get one in I'll get it immediatly.

I've seen a few used mustang kits on ebay recently but they are as much if not more than a new headunit. What we may have to do is go ahead and get everything else in the kit built and shipped so you have it in your hands while we source blowers. I think this would help put some minds at ease at least.

On a second note. I'd like you sponsored guys to give Wagner a call. You'll most likely have to leave a message. I need to let him know that I received the pipes and immediatly sent him a reply email about some issues I had with this first set. I need to get these issues worked out prior to me ordering everyone elses pipes. I've left messages and emails with no reply. Maybe if we have 4 people giving him a call in stead that will get more response.

For as much praising as I do about him you'd think I could at least get an email reply at his leisure.
