Uh, you really need to start a new thread--this thread is WOMP-only.

Apparently. The first protege turbo kit wagner built was for a 1.6L...Dave Potter AKA biknmans car..DO a search. After that let's not muck up Matty's thread anymore

no new updates yet....this is the slow part where I'm working with suppliers to get the first few kits produced. Also, I've upgraded everyone's blowers to the BD-11a so I'll have to do some more fitting and adjusting before the machinist will get to have his time with the bracketry.

well, for comparison Powerdyne says that at maximum SAFE compressor speeds the BD600 flows 850cfm. At the same rpm the BD-11A will flow 975cfm.

What does this mean for the WOMP users? More air at the same boost level. Denser air (colder) charge even with higher boost levels. NO MORE POWER LEVEL CEILINGS.

The Bd600 would be good for about 300whp....the new BD-11A will handle anything you can throw at it. Also Powerdyne says the BD-600 is good for 12-13psi max and the BD-11A is good for about 15psi max... 3psi doesn't sound like much but it's another 125cfm which is about 50whp (give or take)

no difference in the price of the kits....the blowers cost me $50-100 more and I'm eating it on the profit.
