Any automatic 911 Turbo owners in your area? If so you better run them for pink slips...I know drag racing wasn't your goal, but win a 911 Turbo and sell it and you should have over a $100K to put into any car you want!!
That's why I love my little four door Protege.

It must be nice to sink that kind of money into a hobby. Us poor people envy you.

Cool...

I got dibs on talking to you first...lol
You thinik I can ride in it this time. You must be very proud of all the work done to that car. I know I would. I have a lot of respect for you.

BTW, what racing school did you go to and how long was it? I'm thinking about registering for Skip Barber Racing School. I have the application sitting in front of me. I'm probably not going to go as deep as you, but I really want to be able to say "I am a certified racer"...lol

Peace.

I was drinking last night, a really good driver in an M5 might break 13, and the Auto 996 Turbo will easily run high 12's.

Also a fully loaded M5 (with gas and an average wieght driver) is around 4300lbs. So with just curb wieght an M5 does have around 10lbs/bhp...

Either way I bet your going to make well over 200hp and with a test wieght in your protege of a little over 2k lbs, you could be eating pretty much any production car...

i have a stupid *** question:
if you are dropping that much time, money, and effort into this WONDERFUL car, why did you decide on the Ground Contol coil-overs?? I would think you would go with TEIN or JIC in a second over GC....just curious, obviously your car would beat the **** out of most other cars out there, but why not spend just a couple hundred on a probably close to $30-40,000 worth of car?

Thumbs up

Well I have nothing new to comment
I like your front bumper! I wish to have an updated BJ front too, do you perhaps have more pictures of the frontend. I want to see the connection points and the gaps between light and bumper and so on. Thanks

PseudoRealityX, is right the where not out.

Currently, I'm looking at a full coilovers setup by GC right now. Or maybe the Bilstien coilovers inserts from AWR. I've got plenty of horses any time I want either in first, second, or third gear I just barley push the throttle and the tires are a smoking. So I'm in search of some desperately need traction now. Just finished changing all fluid lines to AN. Will be ripping out the heater this weekend and converting the rear window is plastic.

As for pics of the front bumper all I have is what’s in my photo album, link in my signature.

FYI I had a buyer for my front bumper but it fell though so if anybody wants a Corksport Mazdaspeed front bumper slightly cracked it is available. Be warned shipping will be more than I want for the bumper so be prepared to pay for shipping if you don't want to dive to Maryland and pick it up from me.

Your 200hp blown protege is faster than your 250hp wrx and your 400hp hemi ram? How is that possible? Are the torque differences that significant?
