Higher wattage bulbs...

I thought higher wattage bulbs might fry your wriring harness for the headlight becuase of how many watts its going to pull. You might have to change the wire harness to run higher wattage bulbs.

If they are way high it might melt the plastic of the headlight assembly also around the bulb.

Haha, yea thats awesome. its even funnier if your in the same boat. I got no mods on my P5 but every time i wash it is great. hahah. nice sig..

haha, oh umm, yea on a more serious note about light bulbs and wattage and what not. I dont think you have to get a seperate harness for higher wattage bulbs cuz i had bulbs in my other car for a little over a year and nothing ever fried or anything. Other than that, i know nothing about the subject. Peace

Unhappy I have burned wiring with higher output lights

I would recommend making sure that these harnesses will take the drain of higher output blubs. It took over a year to have problems, but when I did- it was expensive. The turn signal stalk switch burned out, leaving one headlight on, and one off, at all times. I had the yank the fuse to make it work.
I homemade a heavier wiring harness, it is not really hard. Two light sockets, two relays, a fuse, and a bunch of wire, and an afternoon.
APC maked a nice kit of a upgrade harness. I would really recommend doing a wire upgrade before using any high output lights. I learned the expensive way, it cost me about 225 to replace the stalk, and 50 in parts for the upgrade..
