Grills and factory lighting

A few questions...
First, I'm cutting a grill out of silver mesh metal to fit in my bumper, but I have no idea how to hold it in there...any ideas?
Second, I just saw on cardomain.com a guy with an MP5 who changed his factory bulbs in his tack from amber to blue. I MUST know how this is done! If anyone knows how to do it, feel free to tell me...
Thanks

I used fishing wire to tie the mesh to the grill.

What year is your car? Mine is a 2001 and I used gutter guards and cut around the emblem (it was a bitch!) and it came a few inches short! I was pissed. I ended up painting the grills. It looks pretty good, but nothing like real chrome.

Ya i would just use a thin wire to hold it on. And the blue lights thats a cool idea, I don't know how to do it but let me know when you find out!

Only trouble with wire is that because the grill insert is right up front, every bit of moisture at the front will hit the wire, and it WILL rust, discolor, corrode, whatever, and any discoloring will run the risk of hitting your paint... NOT a good thing. Give a second thought to fishing line or pullties (used for wire tie-down). Good luck with it. Post Photos if you are able.

What you want to do is buy stainless steel "Mousing Wire". You can find it at hardware and marine stores. You can't tell the grille is being held in by the mousing wire because its the same color.

Remove the plastic trim around your gauge cluster( one bolt above said cluster ), remove gauge cluster (remove the 3 or 4 bolts ) unplug all clips from cluster and set cluster in your lap with backside up. You'll see brown plastic thumbscrew looking things. These are your gauge cluster lights. Remove and replace. Just remember to work backwards when putting it all back togeather.

DOn't do that... if you do you'll endup with no light. the only way to get a P5/MPS/MP3/ES's lighting blue (if it came red) is to do overlays. there's a red gel installed somewher ein the cluster that's pretty unreachable, and even getting to it takes resking breaking needles.
