He's talking swapping the 1.8BP even though.. no one has done it yet, you have to find a VERY specific BP (OBDII), lord knows what axles, and I hear the tranny that they came with is garbage (more than our tranny).
I just wanted to announce that my car officially looks Totally Stock™
stock wheels + Blizzak WS50s + stock hood (well Rob's stock hood, he has my stock hood with fresher paint) + HIDs only on one side now (color-matched ricer halogen on the other side)

stockness!!! (yes I'm aware the stock hood doesn't fit properly, it's also missing two bolts I gotta go to a hardware store tomorrow)

I know I may have asked this before but I really want to find some replacements or something that can be a swap.
Basically, I am looking for the stock Flying M Center Caps for the MSP Stock RH's. They have allen keys. Mine are cracked on three rims. Not really hindering the engine or anything but just something about them being cracked irritates me. So does anyone know where to get some replacements or a center cap that fits the location?

Thanks man. I took a bunch of pics today that I'll post tomorrow. I'd like to see a 03 sand mica ES in a parking lot so I can get some comparison shots. I think the 03 wheels look much better on the sedans than the 02s.
Yes, I was going to trade it in until I got a set of wheels. That started my addiction. I believe I talked to you on the "other" forum when you were on there about swapping instrument clusters in DXs. You couldn't get the hi-beam indicator to work on yours, right?

I don't think you can swap the motor in the Protege (I would have).. you can put a 'race motor' in but you can't swap a different motor like a V6 in.
Also the car in Forza2 is the Mazdaspeed Familia (no turbo, same HP as the MSP but same torque as a normal Protege). It only comes in Laser Blue but you can repaint the car.. I'll see what I can do to get spicy orange and let you know. I can take a photo of it in-game and put it online for yout o see. You could buy the mazdaspeed familia, paint it orange, get wheels that look similar to the MSP wheels (you can get Racing Harts but not the MSP model wheels), and turbo it
Body-wise the Mazdaspeed familia looks like a blue MP3 with bronze wheels.. so exact same body as your car
attached is when I tried to see if you could make the car Sand Mica (just for you Derek :P )

Dude that looks hot! I was thinking of getting some MP3 racing harts and having them powder coated bronze so they look like the MS Familia. I'm saving this to my desktop

his was a much better scene though
it took a close crop for mine to look halfway decent. camera was in manual mode and I forgot the ISO was up high from taking photos in the garage so it came out kinda grainy.
I had to blur the car so hide the fact that the hood had been in storage since April or May --quite dusty. Then I had to adjust the levels on the car (but not the leaves) to get rid of the cyan (driver's side headlamp) and magenta (passenger side headlamp) so the car looks sorta.. flat. That was one of the photos I took just comparing the crap luminics bulb with 6000K HID.
It'll do until I get some better pics though. I try to keep my sig pic up to date whether or not I have decent pics
