They're also some of the strongest cast wheels out there. I wouldn't spend that much money to get wheels heavier than what I have right now, that's for sure.

Today aside from driving to and from campus I perused thousands of pictures of my car from 9pm until just about 15 minutes ago, collecting major event photos to make a part of my Protege5 timeline.
You can see the timeline as it is right now: http://flickr.com/photos/clauretano/...7602808015307/
I am still missing the riciest photos in my car's history, and I fear that they are somewhere on that other forum where I'll never see them again. Someday I will find the backup media that I have them all stored on.
Of course that was all to make my post on this thread I was inspired to start today after an AIM discussion with KrayzieFox: https://www.mazda3club.com/photo-video-gallery-29/photo-transformation-stories-47073/
check it out and contribute. I know some of you (at least Rob, Derek.. I'm sure many others) have some pretty significant transformations. -- not from stock to modded, but other -- as you will see in the first post of that thread.

Hmmm, not digging either really. I'm not a fan of the 'big spoke' design of the slips, and the subzeros are not my style with their 10 spokes.
I really like the Motegi Trak Lites, but they are pretty spendy:

These Sport Max ones are cool, but I've never heard anything about them:
http://www.autornd.com/catalog/produ...2ca1b15ed1b36f
That's pretty much the style I'm looking for, if you know any other good options that look like that.
My broken set were RTX, I may go with them again, not sure. Something better may come up for the $155 pricetag:

Also, these caught my eye, but again, never head of the brand:

It bothers me that alot of brands post nothing about the weight of their alloys! GRRR!

Anyone have any other random suggestions for rims with the same visual style?
Kansei, are you really selling yours? And if so, how much?

So, besides the Trak Lits being the superior choice, it seems like the Sport Maxs have got the best response. Good to know it's a quality product

I can't commit to selling them (amaff don't go there until you finish reading the sentence) until I actually have them off the car and have my winter wheels and tires on.

Maybe the first part of that sentence is more sig worthy than what you have there :P
for anyone who thinks I really can't commit to selling anything, I sold my new cell phone on eBay 3 weeks after I bought it:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=190167634813
it was nice but I hated it, if that makes any sense. It sold for $75 more than I paid for it so I'm happy :P

somehow my low beam HID still works great even after this:
it was on for maybe 30 mins or so in the rain exposed like that.
#2264
I already tossed it into the trash.
I am gonna have to find a way to seal the little hole, or buy a replacement pair of OEM fogs. Until then, I guess I am going to have to be careful in the rain.
I don't want to go back to the halogens; the HIDs look and illuminate so much better!

Today I'm sad because Canada got a new new EGR valve (has coolant lines and a vacuum line connection) and a 7 year, unlimited km warranty on the EGR system for all 99+ 1.8 and 2.0 Proteges, and here in the states we get screwed. If cold weather is a factor, it's ridiculous that they would do Canada but not the great lakes states and New England.
