So my BOS is my daily driver. BOS stands for Big Orange Siren. She is treating me fine. Just updating.

Surprisingly clean front bumper you got there Kansei. Mine's got rock chips, smeared bugs, etc. all over it. I just washed it two days ago and it's halfway black already. Damn yellow .. I swear the insects think it's a flower or something.

my original bumper, with 85k miles on it, was still pretty ok. it was rough to the touch, but you couldn't really see any issues with the paint unless you went all macro mode on it.

check this one:

Is that blue rockblocker over the turn signal portion of the headlights?

just sylvania silverstar bulbs. there's no overlay or film on any of my lights currently.

the bulbs light up orange, they just have a blue/chrome look when off.

ok time to go prep my car for autocross tomorrow (last event of the 2007 season :'( --bah I really should have made time to work on the front sway bar so that I could have made more than the 4 or so that I did (out of 8 total))

Tire pressure - 42f/35r (tirerack.com)
• check on front sway bar bolts --are they still there?
• lube rear sway bar (yay grease fittings)
• windshield wash inside and out (I think it's a lil dusty on the inside
• maybe some seafoam action.. I probably haven't done it in a year or more. I just don't think I can hold 3k rpms in my garage with the door open and have it be quiet enough that it won't bother my neighbors. plus the whole smoke issue would probably concern them :P
• look at my spark plugs. I replaced them early august so I'm sure they're still fine.. and I don't have a spare set the right temp anyhow
• painters tape along corners of front bumper 'lip' part. cones do scratch when they're all embedded with sand and small stones!

I actually.. don't think I hit any today. weird, I need to push it harder.

during my fourth run there was plenty of fun oversteer (42psi front 35-36 rear will do that :P ) as the track began to cool down.

also I met someone from www.imazda.com who goes to RIT as well (the event was on campus) and he got video of my last run. I'll link when he puts it online somewhere

k here's vid. you have to put the volume up really high to hear my car, and when you do that, your ears will bleed from the ungodly horrible sound that catless NA vtec hondas with barely any exhaust make

I'm shocked I didn't hit any in that last run. I went ***** out and it was difficult to contain the oversteer :P
