Fella's, watch the language. He obviously uses english as a second language. no need to bash.

For the record, our swap will be VERY complex. The wiring harnesses are TOTALLY different. There are so many different componants that it will cost you well over $2K to gather the correct pieces to gether. Your best bet is to contact a custom turbo shop like wagnermotorsports.net and see what they can do for you. If I'm not mistaken Andy has built a 1.6L turbo protege kit and it made something like 120hp over stock.

Unhappy Swap 1.6L to 2.0L

Man, I don't realy care if I am going to get baned from here but I am steal sorry for being like that I did go to Mazda diler and took a ride in one 2.0L Protege and I found out that my 1.6L Protege was faster then that 2.0L!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I fealt so freaking stupid! I am sorry people for being like that.

So...you want to buy a less powerful engine and turbo it, buy a new tranny/ecu/harness etc. etc. instead of turboing your "more powerful" engine? Why didn't I think of swapping the 1.6L into my car?!
