which mod?

so i finally decided that i'm going to do something to my car. the problem is what should i do. i'd like to either do the mazdaspeed exhaust or the mazdaspeed lowered springs. i would prefer to lower my car but i've heard if you install different springs its good to replace the struts and stabilizer bars too and i don't really wanna spend the money on all that right now.

get the mazdaspeed exhaust

hey get the mazdaspeed exhaust at mazdastuff.com cause everything is like discounted. cause i felt the same way n i didn't know what i wanted to get so i went for the exhaust. i got it for like $198 there. its a nice deep note n it also gives u noticable power n it frees up the gears alot. if u live n georgia i'll meet u somewhere if im headed that way but catch u later im out.

Yo, I have all those parts if you want to buy?? Had them on my MPS for only 3 months brand new and upgraded to H&R Springs and Greddy Exhaust. However, thinking of putting the Mazda Certified Racing beat springs back on, real rough ride on the H&R sport springs. Lemme know..

The MSP springs will only lower your car about 3/4 of an inche. You should be good with the struts you have now.

do you think its worth it to lower it just 3/4" or should i go for different springs and lower it more? and you said the struts would be fine but what about the sway bars?

Got a few more, but it shows my plates, wouldnt want anyone checking in on me!! God knows that the local pigs chase me enough! Joking. I will get a few more pictures soon, under the hood, etc.
Mods- Cold air intake, manual boost controller, dual mount gauge, H&R springs, Greddy exhuast, Wings West fender flares, side skirts and spoiler.
Future Mods- H&R Wheel spacers, Joep mbc FCD(over 10 psi boost!!) and air/fuel component. Darn things runs too rich!! Get more power under boost!! Still wondering if anyone has tried the joepmbc.com products???

It's all depends on how much you want to spend your money on mods

Ok, but that really doesnt answer my question. I would assume that nobody out there has purchased the joep mbc products then? Right now I am pretty happy since getting the re-flash from Mazda. My MPS actually runs better now then when I bought it.

joe p isn't working for the protege community anymore. He got into arguments with other forum members and has removed us from his customer list.

I would recommend Ric Gillis Boost valve. I use this piece to much success on two of my turbo cars, but in all fairness they are all identical. Ric's piece is the same price as Joe P's, but Ric doesn't care who he sells to!
