Unfortunately, the green is actually in the gauges themselves, so changing the bulbs doesn't totally work. It will change the shade, but the only color that I have seen that actually seems to work is red. Any other color will only give you a different shade of green. The gauges have a green film on them, so there's not much you can do other than to get custom gauges. Just thought you should know before you get your hopes up. I know I did.

blue and red bulbs. the fact that they aren't painted very well might make it look more green than it is too. I didn't know that the guages were tinted green too

i don't know, i had the backlighting bulb go on my automatics shifter go out, so i replaced the white 194 bulb with a blue one, and all i got was a different shade of green. but red bulbs work chastan, or you pulled the covers off and painted your white bulbs red? doing so might actually lower the life of your bulb. whats the concensious?
peace

No, I bought the bulbs at Kragen. But the red illumination isn't very consistent on them.

i installed red 194's in mine and there is no green at all. custom gauges are more effective however.
