After reading alot i figure redline on dxs IS 6000rpm, but why is it that when im at WOT that it shifts at about 5500rpm, is there something wrong with my car? Is there anyway to actually make it always rev to redline or will that increase wear on the engine?

yea its a auto, i did notice when i was at the track that i could get more revs in the "manual" mode. Gains another 500rpm's. Will mods and things like that change the rev charestics of the engine? Im about to get it ported.
wish i had the stick

Actually I don't think those extra 500rp make up for the increased shift time...especially since the torque curve starts to go down after 5.5k anyways...

or I could be wrong...

true, and manual shifting like that will cause problems
