2 kits already available....wilwood and brembo....both VERY pricey and are no issue with ABS....Brembo is 5 lug only and wilwood offers both...wilwood is higher quality but also more money...most big brake kits out there now are front wheels only anyway since they do 70-80% of the braking...emblems really arent that expensive at the dealer...most expensive one is like $10 its the MPV one

I'd like to see a nice 12" kit with 4 pistons for the front, if there was a way to sell a "kit" for rear disc conversion that would be killer.
As for the body work I've found ways to appease my aero needs, did you know VW chin spoilers will fit the lower front valence? All you have to do is screw it into the bottom of the cover (you wont even see the fastners) and this then gives you lowered body clearance in front and allows the fitment of a "splitter" to the front end.
As for the rear IM looking into doing a "tuft" test on the back half of the car to see what if any aero work will be functional...if your going for subtle looks an ///M3 trunk spoiler or an S4 trunk spoiler are novel ideas, as for wings nothing that works is suitable for road use...I am wondering about roof spoilers though to help aid in flow.....need to tuft it to find out.

holy crap 12" 4-pot calipers?!?!? I don't have $1500 for a set of front brakes. The Protege would NEVER need that much stopping power....

hmm....I almost agree with that, but I think the 12" 4-pot brake thing is going way overboard.

I started this thread to see what pieces I could fabricate for us or duplicate cheaply. I am still working on the TB unit and should have one on my car within about 3 weeks.

supercharger isn't a bad idea. Wagner is already toying with the idea of the Paxton Novi 1000 on a P5. When I'm at his shop next week I'll see what he's been able to come up with and I'll see if can get a spare supercharger core so I can fab up a bracket. This would be a non-intercooled version running a jack-shaft from the passenger side (pulleys) to the drivers side (SC mount). Should be realitivly inexpensive aside from the cost of the core.

I'll get back to you on this in about another week.

I too have been thinking jack shaft drivin SC unit...
As for easy to fab stuff I do that myself....I was thinking more for general production.

Brakes, eh, a good 4 piston caliper on the stock brakes would be ok, i'd like to see floating hats or larger swept surfaces though. A skid plate is something Im working on now as well, for those rally cross events.

AEM ecu....done.

Cams, hmm....I'm assuming DOHC for the 1.6L. If you want to get me a set of stock cams I'll see what I can do for ya. This shouldn't be a problem.
