Hmmm, but what do you mean by "perfect fit"?

I would think that would mean "is thread compatible with the shifter so that it screws on".

Now to count the aftermarket shift ***** that meet that criteria...

1) Team Voodoo
2) Greddy (I've heard)

I don't know of any others off the top of my head...

First off...what you need to do is find out what the thread pitch is on your current shifter...then when you buy your short shifter ask them what the thread pitch is on it.....THEN when you go to buy a new shift **** you just need to shop for a **** that has that same thread pitch available....some **** companies offer their ***** in different configurations....but if you don't ask they just send you the most common size. YOU have to ask the questions. I had mine custom made and the company would put any insert in it I requested.....

i'm just sick of those little allen screws you have to use it would be so much better to have it so you can just screw it on just like the stock one.
So does anyone know where i can look?

I have already resurrected another shift **** thread, but I will post here as well. I have a 2002 PR5 and my problem isnt finding matching thread patterns, but for all the ***** I've seen the bottom of the **** is narrow, and our boot is installed in a way the the top is supposed to be covered. i.e. if you can see the top of the boot, it looks like crap, so you need a way to cover the top of that boot and aftermarket ***** are designed with a flared bottom like the stock ****. Have all you **** switchers replaced your boot too?

I know what you mean, yes the stock boot does look like crap on the top, so I will be replacing my boot soon because of this.

Momo makes ***** with boots that screw into the bottom of the ****. they will fit any application, but you do have to be specific on you vehicle becuase they have some differences in threading. They have those shitty allen screws though (on some anyway). The major drawback is the price. about $80 for the **** and $60 for the boot. I don't know why I am doing it
