Lightbulb Perfect Place to hide HU face

Interesting place to stash detached face...

I constantly found myself forgeting my radio face plate until I found a nice little hole above and to the right of the gas pedal under the dash on my P5. My radio face fits perfectly into this gap back behind the radio and dials and stays out of site and the minds of would be theives...

Just thought I'd share this with everyone, I can't be the only one...

I usually just throw it under the seat.......

I know it's pointless, but..................

I always take it with me at night.

But if I'm gonna be parked for while and decide to remove it, I usually just toss it in the door pocket if I don't carry it with me. can't be seen there.

Nice to have a lady with a purse - for carrying **** like this!

my blau has a keycard (cc size) so it goes right in my wallet.

but that's a cool place to hide the face, never thought of that.

But 1st gens have the PERFECT spot for a faceplate. Right under the cupholder the spot is perfectly formed for a faceplate case.

If someone was to break into the car, I am pretty sure that they would look there before they look under the seat..........I have a criminal mentality so I know what I am talking about ok.....

thats what I was thinking... placing it up under the dash behind the center console seams like a safe place to stash it where nobody would look...

You can always put it in the glove compartment and lock it. You do know there's a lock on there don't you?

I would tend to believe that if a persons glove box is locked then the chances of finding something of interest in that glove box increases greatly....

same with your trunk. nothing is ever really safe. not even with an alarm. which is why we all need friends that work at local stereo shops to write up fake reciepts, so when our CD player gets stolen, and you report it to the insurance, they really stole a flip out DVD player, a $2000 amp, and a $700 sub you might as well make it worth your while
uhh credit card fraud is well.... bad.... thats why premiums are so high!

even better, just bring your car over to your friends car audio shop and take pictures with all those expensive items sitting inside your car....
