Cloverleaf - Audi A6 vs P5
The exit I take off the hi-way is this nice long sweeping left hand turn that goes on for a good amount of time. So I am in back of this brand new Audi A6 Quattro. I knew as soon as we hit that corner it was on........and as I predicited as soon as we got on the corner he gunned it.
I love this corner and know it like the back of my hand so I knew i had a chance against him. I was sticking right with him about 2 car lengths back and I see him keep looking in his over priced rear view mirror.....Yeah I am still there ya tool. Hehe. So as soon as we hit the Apex of the corner I gave it all I could while keeping traction and just pulled up right to the back of him. From there the corner ends and the toll booths are ahead, but damn that was fun.
I know this is more a case of Driver vs Driver and not really car. But still, goes to show how good the little P5 handles even compared to a all wheel drive German car

Nicely done, Hooligan R6. Maybe he's crying in his Bordeaux and beating his chocolate lab...... : )
Are you talking about exit 16, off of 1-87? I have had several rally-type encounters there. The jump from the I-87 tolls to Rt. 17/6 west, where it goes to two lanes, always inspires a lot of racing for position. I blew off a 1999 or 2000 camry there a few days ago. He was a 2.2L. Yay, but it still feels good.
BTW, have you ever noticed people with minivans driving like maniacs on I-87?? WTF???
