1st Gen vs. a McLaren F1.....
I pull up to this guy at a stop light, about 7:30 AM and I'm thinking, there's NO way this thing's street legal! So I start revving my engine while my friend sneaks around and slashes the McLaren's tires! muahaha. He stays still and lets me tear out (I get 0-60 in like 4 seconds), enough to give me a HUGE head start. So then HE goes. Since his tires are slashed, he's swerving like crazy but still speeding up like a madman, and then BOOM!! I look behind me and there's this huge explosion. He had crashed into a tree! "I win," I thought, as I drove away going 170 in a school zone.

If you really think about it street racing is pretty useless. It doesn't prove anything, except lack of good judgment. You have no control over conditions like traffic , road surface, or if the other driver is even racing. If you want to show your stuff take it to a track. You can go at 100% and be reasonably assured that everyone else is too. That said, I still read these stories here and laugh at most.
