93 Grand Am
My brother and I were both coming home from work driving down riverside dr. When he pulls up next to me (93 Grand Am) at the lane ave. light I point at the Rte. 33 sign and say there is the finish.
Right after I said that the light turned green and he left abour a car ahead of me because he could see the other light turn red so he was ready and I wasnt. Anyway after I left I was a car behind and stayed with him at 1 car. He managed to pull another 1/2 car on me. So its pretty close to say that if I had a better launch I would have lost by a 1/2 car. Not sure on the specs of those cars but I know its a v6. Oh and his was auto also...hehe.

don't underestimate those cars. i had a 94 grand am with the 4 cyl. engine, and it was pretty quick. it had a stick, and i would be able to keep up with my buddy's crysler concord with the v6. (neck and neck up to about 75 mph) if that grand am had a v6, i would think you wold have to do some major work to get to beat him.
