Oh yeah, DUH, I didnt even think of that....But I think that could be worked around if you really wanted it. You'd also need to cut out the grill area too wouldnt you? I cant remember if it had it out or not, I havent looked at it in a while!

it's also not safety compliant....what Id do personally mike is to ount your headlights to the chasis and cut away the front end to allow the light through. I wonder how bad it wobbles at speed though. It can't be very sturdy. I think the whole front end was only like 24lbs!

I just thought...I realize it would be a crap load of work, and probably not worth it, but would it be possible to cut it into 4 main peices, like the stock front end(Hood, bumper and 2 fenders) and attatch it that way to make it more realistic? Or do you think it might loose some structural integrity after all the cutting?

THIS would be a bad idea....

Matty I think you might be right though, it would wobble a bit, depending on how it attaches to the body...if its a good sturdy hinge in the front and it attaches nice and solid at multiple points in the rear it would probably be pretty solid

yeah, I've emailed them about some specs and stuff...i'll post with what I hear.

I would think cutting it would be possible but you'd have to add mounting points to secure it to the chasis. I think cutting out for ther headlights would cause enough instability

i thought about going with the carbon front end for a quick second! thats it though just a second because it says its not street legal and i thought about it wobbling also. like i said i was going to do the sport 20 bumper, but i wrecked it and the first thing i bought was the whole radiator support from a MSP. i only need a few things like the plastic splash sheilds, grill, and a few minor things i want. when i get all that stuff and the car back together, i hope everything with the womp is together so i can start working on the performance. if its not all done that will give me time to buy some Tokico Illuminas to go with my espelir springs.

um yeah look what i got today... sorry about the size i'll be able to resize it tomorrow.

yes another one, i got a good deal. its got a chip on the side which is more reason for me to paint the sides of it. i had planned to do that with the other one, but once i got it was to nice to do that. so now i have two... i have to buy the grill for this one though. i put it and my fenders on for now to get them out of my garage and i'm taking to alabama this weekend to have the radiator support cut out and the new one welded on.

my mom is kind of pissed that i bought another hood, but its my money... lol i've saved all my money since i was in 1st grade, plus the insurance helps from when i wrecked it. i've always been able to save my money better then any of my friends. i think i finally found something that will make me spend my money(besides my ex, lol) i also just got a part time job with ups, nights for the holiday season. i work with my grand mothers construction company(clean up crew), i work with my mom's bf(landscaping), and i do odd jobs around the house. i guess home school has its benefits, even though it gets really boring. if i decide to get rid of it i'll let you know!

Timmy

Troo, seems like your in the same boat as me! Its nice to see another kid working for his stuff...Most of my freinds and I all bought our own cars and such, but kids from our school(fairly rich area) all get brand new Infiniti's and BMW's and such, and even it not one of them, still a brand new car never the less! If I were homeschooled I'd probably do the same, get my work done quick so I could go make some money!

Good luck with all the repairs!

i didn't buy my car completly it was a hand me down from my sister, which i had to finish paying it off... 1500 plus a dollar that i gave her for it. my grand mother owns an infiniti q45, its such a nice car. i get to drive it sometimes, but i mostly have to drive my mom's 4runner or our explorer(another hand me down from my sis). my sister bought a 2004 expedition and didn't want the explorer so it became our extra car. god i'm tired of driving suv's!
