as matty knows i have a 99 es! i've always wanted this hood, but i knew i couldn't get it because of the year difference. i decided to get the sport 20 bumper like yours, but i ended up wrecking it, spent most of my insurance money on womp, and i have been slowly getting the parts together. when i found out the guy was selling it, i had to talk him into shipping it! now i only need a few things left to have a 99 with an 01+ conversion!

Looks great! I really want a hood but I think I'm going to stick to doing things under the hood first. I'm just scared that once I'm ready to get one, nobody's going to be making them anymore!

I've always thought it would be kool to have one of them, but it says on their site its not street legal....Any real reasons as to why? I'm thinking maybe access to then engine would be too hard in an emergency or something....but yet again I think they're used in racing, so who knows?!?

ummm..well, no headlights might be why.....Otherwise a cop would never know the difference
I thought about possibly cutting out the headlight part and extending the wiring to be able to install headlights.....
PS matty it IS front hinged....it flips forward suicide style
