Today is a sad day.

Today is a sad day . I crashed my GSX-r1000cc motorcycle yesterday. I knew a 1000cc of power between my crotch was to much power for me to handle. I though i was bad *** trying to take a curve fast on a country road and gave it to much brakes and munched it. The bike slide across the road and into the guard rail. The bike is totalled. I'm alright just a little shaken up and scraped up and brused. The full riding gear saved my life. So who here has crashed there motorcycle?

AH, back in the day I had an 81 honda SS 900. Basicly a Goldwing stripped down. The rear was widend so it could fit a fater tire the front forks were change. I don't know much about bikes but this one was to low, and to fast. If you tryed to turn to hard the pipes hit. Anyways an old man in a ranger tried like hell to take my foot off when he Tboned me. I was doing 60 or so, my foot got stuch between the finder and bumper of his truck. If it hadn't have been for the rear shock catching the bumper I would have lost it!
I love bikes but I don't think I'll own another one. On that same day at that very some moment in time my little brother was killed in an Auto accident about 10 miles away. It was the day before my moms birthday and we were meeting at her house to clean it for her. There was 4 of us kids, now only 2 left. I promissed that I would never ride agin. This is alway a bad time of year for us. March 15 is was his Birthday, mine is the 22 and my moms is on May 25th. Sorry for the long post!

Oh and glad to hear you ok!

glad to hear you're ok....riding gear saved you man! I wrecked my 1979 BMW 650cc....it scared the crap out of me...I threw the bike away and never thought about another one until I saw the new 2005 Ninja 250's.
