Got the 3 today!

Got the Mazda 3 off the lot yesterday. The bad thing was, was that it rained after we finalized the papers and crap.

Here's the few pictures that we took yesterday... Hopefully it doesn't rain later on today so I can get better pictures.

It's not a bad car. Pretty quick, but I haven't taken it up to high rpms or anything yet, since it's still very new car. I like it anyway.

Heh. Yeah. I should get more pictures soon.

Oh, the got you with those stupid designer line sticker things they put on the cars. Last time one of my cars had a pair of those it started peeling off the paint near the front!! Oh well. You got a great car. Mine had been sitting in the show room. Only time it had been driven was when they brought it from the factory. 3 MILES ON IT BABAY!!!! It was so cool.

Look at the first pic. It's that pair of lines moving from the front of the car all the way back. They make the car look a little nicer sometimes but it's just a way for a dealer to raise the price and it damaged my paint job on my last car.

How exactly do you take the moldings off? Just in case the next car I get has them I would like to know.

Hmm, I see what you guys are talking about in the pictures, but I haven't seen it on my car yet. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough.

he is talking about the moldings that supposlly help you from getting the paint scracht like when you open it to hard and you hit a post most likely the moldings are going to hit it and not the whole door and sometimes it makes your car look better but i think it doesn't

I think the 'stickers' Bluehatch originally mentioned are also called pinstripes. They go all the way from the hood to the back panel, at the the top of the doors right under the windows. You can see it in christi's first, second, and fifth pictures - it almost looks like a reflection. They used to put them on many older cars, but I guess the dealer put them on in this case. Did they charge you extra for that?

You might check out the Highboost turbo kit for the 3. I just saw a post that said they hit 300 whp off just 9psi!

Yeah... Apparently they already jipped me on it. I think it was already on the car before I bought her. I can always look on the recipt thing I have in the car.. It SHOULD tell me.

Kind of sucks that they can get those stripes at nearly $5, but they up it so damn high - it's such a ripoff. Oh well.

Hughes - I'm not going to turbo her. She's suuppose to and will be a family car.. hehe. I'm hoping to keep her longer than I did on my rx-7s. Maybe later on in life if I can afford the RX-8 I'll turbo the 3
