9.5 1/4 and street legal? I wouldn't mind seeing some pics of that setup. How are you setting it up when driving in on the street versus running it on the track. I can't see a 9.5 sec civic being very civil or even legal on the street.

I drive it around without problem, I also have my accord so ofcourse it doesnt get as much street attention as my accord, but it is very streetable. Its still on the same frame (not unibody), the only problem I can see driving it around is the fact that its slammed, I don't alter the setup when driving it on the street compared to the strip. In all honesty it sits in my garage more than it sees the road, which is why I am not very hesitant on getting rid of it.

You had a dyno run yet? What did you mean on the same frame? I thought those cars were unibody.

Yes, sorry was in a hurry when I was typing, had to go downstairs to help my mom (she just had back surgery and can't get around). Its stock frame/body etc, just gutted with motor+mods and suspension work. I had it dynoed at 635 Hp and 600 to the wheels.

I'm just want to know how you got in in the 9's. Stock chassis, no rollcage or anything? The fastest street tire car I've seen at the import drags is Mark Mazurowski's Supra who is in the mid 9's at around 150mph. The closest street tire FWD car I've seen at the import drags is Kevin Inge's Civic who is in the mid/upper 12's at around 125mph. The last import drag I went to at Moroso didn't have a single FWD import to break out of the 11's and these were gutted and fiberglassed cars running slicks.

Well, I told him I would "think" on the $12k, and he said the highest he would go is $15k. I think I am gonna get the full $15k out of it, I mean it runs 9.5's and thats without NOS. Looks like I won't be smoking Vettes,Camaros,Bikes, etc anymore I found a 93 RX7 Turbo for $14,500. I think I might jump on that. who knows.

another stupid "quote" who the **** offers $15k when $12 is being debated? strike 4

9.5 sec w/out nawws : fact: there's no fwd honda out there running better than 10's without nitrous> strike 5

Alright I am new here but was refered by rodslinger. Now I have a 12 second z-28, a 14 second Turbo Dodge Lancer and a dog **** slow S-10 Blazer. Now I am not calling you a liar but a 9 second daily driven Civic? I do not hate imports but even the import guys will laugh at that one. I have seen a few 13-10 second Integras and Civics at Bremerton raceway and Pacific raceways but anything under 12 was not street driven nor would you want to drive it on the street. So please think up something that is at least believable.

I was give it up for the full 15K , cause you probably paid close to nothing for the hatch, and all your engine work and labour charges, plus tuning ,must be able to equal up to 15k .shoot I would take the profit and run. If his dum son crashes the car then that would not be your fault cause you already have the 15k in your bank account, shoot I would take that 15k , pay down on a 3 family house and rent it out and make more cash and just keep doing that till you have like 3 houses or so and bam you don't have to work anymore lol .....
just the way I think
