Angry 03 Protege5 Rear doors.

I have tried my damnest to get my f'ing rear door handles off!! Those MF's are on like a *****.

Could someone please provide detailed instructions on how to remove my 2003 MP5 doors??

Thought I could swap the factory spkrs for a new set in under an hour. Been working on ONE DOOR HANDLE for two hours and the bitch is still on!!

Sorry for the profanity....just extremely frustrated right now!! Been running from my car to my pc trying to find the right threads to read on how to do this.

if you look underneath on the right side of the drivers rear door handle you'll see a small rectangular hole...you can stick a big flathead screwdriver up in there to help the right side clip unhook...you have to pull on the outside of the handle (the inside is attached to the metal door frame by two large bolts)...it's a pain doing this so i understand when i first tried to do it myself

Thanks for the advice jaje. I finally got them off after wasting about 3 hours and a pint of blood!

For the life of me I can not understand why they made it so difficult to remove a simple door handle! A couple of hidden screws underneath would have been secure enough and probably cheaper to manufacture.

Anyway, after I was finally able to remove the handles I was too tired and frustrated to install my speakers so I will take care of that this weekend.

PS: for those who may try to remove their rear door panels on the MP5, good F'ing lucK! And may the force be with you!
