Door removal help

Hey everyone,
i know this was posted a long time ago, but i can't find it anymore... I was wondering if anyone had detailed pictures on how to remove the driver/passenger/rear doors so that i can fix my speakers.. There were detailed pictures on how to take out the inner doors a couple years ago, which helped me out greatly, but now i need them again cuz my speaker wire is loose and i need to fix it up.. if anyone knows how to properly do it without damaging anything, lemme know, thanks
KC

It's pretty self explanatory to take off the inside door panels. You just have to find all the screws. Use cloth or tape near your screwdriver when prying to prevent damage to the panel. The toughest part is the handle, you gotta pull it out just right but even that isn't very difficult. Don't forget if you have a sedan (non-MSP) that your rear doors do not have speakers, they are in the rear deck.

Door Handles

yeah i tried to pop some clarion speakers in my rear doors but it was nearly impossible to remove the handle, i think there might be another screw under the handle, should be a small opening there, about the size of a flat head screw-driver. i havent tried it out yet but will be soon, one of my mechanic buddies suggested this. Figured i'd let ya know. I've got a 2000 protege se.

i figured out how to remove the rear door handles. under the handle itself there is a small opening, big enough to fit a flat head screwdriver. push up with the screwdriver, you'll be pushing on a release tab, it might be really tough to push on-looking like your about to break the handle- but this will work. while pushing up, angle the screwdriver so that the bottom of the handle starts to come out more then the top of the handle. the release tab kind of works like the front door handles but without any bolts. in case anyone is wondering the size speaker that fits in the rear door of a 99-00 protege is a size 6.5.
hope this helps.
