I just finished the NOS install today and sprayed for the first time..the difference was more noticable than the ZEX I think but thats my Opinion. As for the micro-switch you talked about Eric it is possible to bypass it and setup the install I have with a momentary switch instead that you would arm your system with the toggle switch and then depress the momentary whenever you wanted instead of it coming on and off at WOT. Plus its a much easier install. Mine is jetted at a 50 shot but I might up it to a 60 or 70 shot we will see.

The ZEX kit is easier to install since you don't have to mount micro switches anywhere. The ZEX kit is only compatible with certain throttle position sensors and fuel pressure regulators types though.
Well you are right about that! Did anyone see the "Crank and Chrome" show on TNN today? Thay installed N2O on a 2000 Corvette. They used a 100hp shot and got around 250 torque and 180 hp when they put that thing on the dyno. That is CRAZY!
BTW...The kit was made by some texas company, T.C.P or something like that.

Hey Eric, do you know if there is a filter in our ZEX Kits? I seen on that show they had a in-line filter for the N20. I think it is a good idea.

That's it! That's the company they used.
And I had it installed by a performance shop locally but you can do it yourself, I would have been happier if I had looking back on it now. But oh well.

Didn't see the show, and no, I don't think the ZEX kit comes with an in line filter.

does it say LX 2.0 on a little decal on the front right fender? If it does, well there you go, if not, it's a 1.8L

It doesn't matter, you can use nitrous on either engine.

The only real difference is the install. The NOS kits have more flexibility in mounting, but can be more difficult to install.

Zex

So.......... You've had your ZeX on for a while (MP3-owner) How are you liking it??? I just ordered mine but now I am hearing some negative things about them, I would like to hear your honest opinion on weather or not you would do it again if you had the chance. Also when does it usually kick in for you? and Does the switch just turn the Zex on or off? or do you switch it to spray? Let me know.. THX
