Re: Zex Is Here!!

Are you gonna change anything inside the engine or just put the kit on?

What kind of shot are you gonna use?

Nope. Protege/MP3 2 liters can handle NOS quite easily in stock condition.

Re: Zex Is Here!!

Yeah, I got mine also. I probably won't install it right away though. We just got our first little bit of snow today here in Chicago. The N2O probably won't do me much good until spring, unless I get the Quaife LSD from Mazda Motorsports before then...

Will the BPT engine need any mods to the engine to make it take the nitrous system good?

How much was that system, and what does it include?

Does anyone know if you can run NO2 off of a auto tranny.

I would think the BPT would be 10 times stronger than the 3rd gen 2.0L's, But I'm not sure.
The Kit cost Eric and me $430.00US only because we went on on a group buy over on probetalk.com and got hooked up! The kit comes with everything you need to run.
BTW...I don't see why you couldn't run N2O through your auto tranny.

Getting the kit put in tommorow! WOOHOO!

Thanks for the tip, I was just worried about burnig out the tranny really fast. I would think that this would put so much extra stress on everything.
