Turbo Manifold & Tubing

Got a question if anyone out there can answer this for me it would be greatly appreciated. I got a buddy who is working on his 1st generation mazda protege. He has dropped (so he says) a 1.8 liter ford escort GT motor in it. He recently acquired a turbo for it but needs a Turbo Manifold, and tubing for it 90-94. Where can i tell him to look. Personally I own a 99 Z24 im working on and can find everything i need for it, but im having no such luck helping him with his car. If anyone has any info. that i can pass on to him it would be of great value to him... maybe he can get it together and beat me in a race

He probally did, the Escort GT motors are the exact same DOHC motors that come in the Protege LX's. I believe corksport.com has a turbo manifold for the DOHC motor, but piping and a intercooler will need to be a custom job. I'm just in planning stages of turbo build up on my SOHC, so I'm still learning, but there are a few guys on here that have done turbos, and they'll know a lot more then me.

Hey thanks for the replies... Im not doubting that you can do the escort motor swap... Im doubting his reliability on what he tells me. But that gives me a heads up on what to tell him. Thanks and if anyone else has any more info keep me posted.
