Fire extinguisher

Fire extinguisher

Is it to ricey to install a fire extinguisher? I've seen in them other cars, sometimes they suit the car and sometimes they don't. Has anyone installed one in their Protege5? What kind should I get? Expensive or something that will be useful and less decorative?

Naww man i dont think it is rice. Im not sure why you would need it besides looks, but i know if you go to Autozone or Pep-boys they should have some APC ones in stock (Different Colors). If you like the way they look then just go for it man. Post some pics too...ohh yeah i think they range from $60-80, something like that....

don't or DO mount it visibly? i would mount it in an accesible location, i think it lowers insurance rates too doesn't it?

It's not going to lower your insurance just because you have it mounted to your A-pillar.

Mine is mounted in the trunk...no frills, just a regular fire extinguisher...I rather have one that works then for looks.

But that is just my cup of tea...do what you think is necessary, just remember the reason for a fire extinguisher is for fires not a modification accessory.
