Fog Light is on Fire

Hey guys, its been a while since my last post, but I seem to be having the same issue with my fog light from my prev. post a few months back. I can't seem to find a good wire to tap into without it over heating and eventually frying. I hate to go directly to the battery, but I might have to. I tried tapping the factory wire next to the steering column, cigar fuse, fuse relay for the fog from under the hood, and turn signal. The wire is still getting way to hot. I tried different gauge of wires and everything I can possibly think of. Any adviced is greatly appreciate it.

Everything is wired properly prior to the power source wire.

I've done many fog light installation in the past and never came across a issue with tapping a source wire, but I guess there's a first for everything.

i take it since your posting in the mazda3 section, you drive a mazda3 right??

if so, i thought they were pre-wired for foglights (as well as numerous other things)??

or is that just on the newer models??
