Question Where's Our Fire???

Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like the first gen section of the message board has slowed down quite a bit lately? It seems to me lately, that we don't have as many interesting conversations, or bring up as many new ideas as we used to. Are we just getting tired of posting stuff, or are we really starting to run out of ideas??

Also, I'm not seeing some of the old faces that used to be on here. What ever happened to Bizob? I know there are others but I can't think of them right now. Are you people still here and just not posting? I feel our attendance is dropping on the board.

Let's not let this happen! I am personally going to challenge myself to bring up new topics and ideas in the first gen forum. And they will be good ones, not just crap to say that I've contributed. Basically, I guess I'm saying, Let's get this thing moving a little bit, so it's interesting like it used to be....

ya got me!! I don't even own a 1st gen and this is still one of the fourms that I ALWAYS read as there is some good stuff talked about here.....but as you noted its been pretty slow lately. maybe a lot of people are getting out of school and are either between school and home, or are just spending more time out and about then in their rooms with the computer and US! :{D

Well, i for one will be going turbo VERY soon. Within the next few months. I was originally going to add the turbo (as it's been sitting in my garage for months now) to my N/A engine, but will probably go for the full GTX or GTR engine So i will have some good turbo parts for sale (turbo, manifold, intake manifold, injectors, feul rail, coolant lines etc.. all GTX) I have put off the turbo upgrade due to my autox racing and the swap will put me in a very competetive class, but screw it, racing is racing, no matter what class i'm in. I just want mo-powa

(figured i add this to here rather than make a new thread)

later dudes

My enthusiasm for proteges is quickly dying.. If it keeps up I'll end up going to the darkside and put all my efforts into RX-7's. I guess there just isn't enough support for these cars to keep me interested. I even tried to make support, by planing to make a-pillar pods and had other ideas to help supply people with parts that aren't available, but not enough people are interested... Looks like I might just end up using the pro as a beater.. and not bother with it performance wise anymore.

it's thinking like that that will help kill enthusiasm :P

i'll talk to wil when he gets on about the pods, but not enough people are going turbo to really care for the pods, though if you do want to make a couple extra or make a how to for those of us who want them, that would be greatly appreciated once i go turbo i am putting in a boost, air/fual, oil pressure gauges guarunteed
