what do you people think of them? also consider their price,

i am planning on buying an amp for my 2 clarion 10" subs, but im not sure how much power i should give them, they say 400W MAX but MAX power is always BS, i go by RMS but i can't find the specs,

New kid in the united states, the only reviews I have seen have been good, but not outstanding. There are other amps in the same price range that would work fine.
Look for a "D" class, or "Z" class amp, they are designed for subwoofers alone. More efficent at getting watts to subs.
Couple of questions, what wattage are you running to the rest of the system, what type of box are you using, are you into SPL )boom boom boom) or SQL (tight but can still hear the music), what type of music do you listen to, how much mounting room do you have, and what is the budget.
Trust me, this stuff will for sure help folks find you something you might like-

well lets put it this way, i need a trunk lol i want a sealed enclosure for SQ not ghetto bass, iw as thinking of this clarion APX400.2 amp i found at etronics.com they have it for REAL cheap so i think i might get that. class D amps are kinda expensive, i don't ot the money for them, same with class T. i have 2 5x7 clarion speakers at the front and they are just going off deck power 22w RMS, speakers are rated for 35RMS

PLEASE - before buying ANYTHING from E-Tronics, check their reseller ratings.

I have read a LOT of horror stories about this company - no shipments, lies, extra costs, selling stuff they don't have, etc, etc. They have 70 complaints on file with the Better Business Bureau in the last 3 years, and 26 in the last 12 months alone - that's A LOT OF BAD BUSINESS, and this does not include all the people who never registered a complaint (have YOU ever sent a complaint to the BBB for a bad experience? Most people don't, so those numbers are VERY high, considerng only a fraction of those who were unhappy took the time to go to the BBB).

Here's the BBB registered page for E-Tronics.com:
http://www.newyork.bbb.org/nis/newse...21000000014130

And here's one of hundreds of pages of reviews of them - some are good, and some are BAD - this is from pricegrabber.com - pay attantion to the BAD ratings, and read some of the horror stories:
http://www.pricegrabber.com/rating_g...d6424e2932630/

Just a heads-up. I'll never order anything from E-Tronics - not worth the risk, IMO.

I can't speak for AB's amps, but I love my AB component speakers!
