audio n00b question ...

how do you know a head unit will fit in a car?

or are all head units a universal size for all cars?

thanks!

There are usually molded plastic install kits to make a DIN size head unit fit (DIN is the most common size for aftermarket head units)
Otherwise the only thing you have to worry about is the depth. Crutchfield has a pretty good sizing guide.
