Sarcasm is fine and I use it myself all the time. What's NOT fine is blatent name calling and excessive use of profanity with the sole intent of fighting with someone.

Don't worry about it. I expect nothing less than sarcasm from a worthless heap of decepti-crap.

TRANSFORM AND ROLL OUT!!

Bah, he would have lost the fight anyways. I like stepping on the fleshlings. They make that squishy sound.

Anyways, as for the intakes. I really dont see much difference between the ebay one fron the injen one. My injen one is polished and has a C.A.R.B badge. Even if there is a temp difference it would be a very small. Not nearly as MASSIVE as UniteNYC stated.

I don't want people thinking that we just ban everyone. This guy had every oppurtunity to shut up after being warned and he got worse.

YES, my intake goes through the fender hole and into the tire well area. I'll see if I can get a picture of it tomrrow for you so you get an idea of how similar it is to the injen CAI.
yours goes through the well hole? hmm...i noticed that, but i thought that it would dirty up way faster (from the tire fling ups) so i routed my SRI to go in front of the tranny, let me get a pic right quick

well it is in a shielded compartment so I'm not worried about road dirt or tire kick-up....With filters as cheap as they are there's no reason not to replace one every 5K miles

*wow*

I can't believe how craptacular this thread got. Just for the record, 2 + years ago when I bought the ebay intake they called it the "cold air" intake. Now I believe we are referring to it as the SRI, or short ram intake. That's the one I have. It cost about 35 bucks w/shipping if I remember correctly. No problems with it except for having to relocate the brackets so it didn't slap against the master cylinder all of the time I have no desire to spend massive amounts of money on anything, so basically no Injen or AEM cold airs for me!
