What have you done to your 3rd Gen today?

meanwhile with my current tire rotation I have a wheel vibration like I've never felt before. Take a sine wave and composite another waveform on that.. it peaks every 2 seconds at 70mph.. I'll definitely need to rotate the tires again before I travel back to CT sometime this weekend.

You mean beating? I get that from my drivetrain, but only in 5th gear.
When I put my summers back on I rotated the driver's side ones because the rear was much less worn. I didn't rotate the passenger side because that's my mismatched tire size side of the car. I did notice that it looked like a wheel weight had fallen off on one of the wheels but I wasn't sure if it was just residue from a former wheel weight or not. The wheel weights on my summer wheels have this weird metal tape over them which I think was just placed there waiting for the adhesive to cure or something.. too afraid to take it off :P
whatever they're coming off soon.. but if I drive back to CT on my summers I'll rotate that side back to see if it goes away. I didn't use the torque wrench when I put the summers back on and I know I torqued it a bit tighter than spec.. half way to Toronto I pulled over , loosened all the front lug nuts, and retightened them looser.. definitely much closer to spec. Still happening.
I hope I didn't damage something when torquing the lug nuts on.. it did kinda yank the steeling a little because I had to hold the breaker bar at an angle to clear the fender.

Hahaha I know right!
Suprised me though, fun little wagon...
Really tossable, lots of features for a rental (power everything, heated seats, MP3 player). Smooth powerband and acceleration for it's engine size.
Body roll is acceptable for a wagon with stock suspension.
I'd say it's better than both the G5 and the base model Sentra I had rented before it.

Today I pulled over at a scenic parking area about 30 minutes into my trip from Rochester to CT (6 hour drive) and had to rotate my tires. I totally forgot about that beating wheel vibration. I can still feel it now but much, much less now that the problem wheel is on the back.
I actually saw snow accumulation on the ground too! Good thing I have my snow tires with me here
Oh and rotating your tires with the stock jack is a pain in the butt!! good thing I had my snow tires with me (as I don't have the spare tire in the car.. long story but that **** is broke) to set the car down on temporarily during the process.

omg and the sig pic still works!
I think we can all vote to ban this member.. clearly anyone who puts such an ill-fitting muffler on a car isn't a decent human being.
