Pardon my ignorance, but I need help. Bought my 02 ES 5peed in August and would like to do upgrades. Unfortunatley I do not know much about cars. I will probably have a mechanic perform the upgrades, but I want to be well innformed.Is there a good book or article (s) that describe what upgrades do? I found a great "project Miata" article, but nothing on the Protoge. CatBack, Air Intake, Air Filters, Flywheel, (I know about a short shifter!), Stainless brake lines, Slotted Roters, Headders, etc., etc. I have visited all the Protege sites and they are helpfull. I guess I want a "reference" that explains it all, then I will research specific brands. Thanks, I visist this site often and find it helpfull. If anyone knows of a good upgrade or tuning shop in the Princeton new Jersey area, that would be great.
