I would get a cat-less header FIRST, prior to cams. when you have cams made you can let them know that you have a free exhaust. Also, a header is HIGHLY recomended when installing the supercharger. You CANNOT use UDP's with a supercharger. It'll screw with your boost and thats not good. I'm spending a lot of time face down in my college physics book to make sure I get the boost right the first time!

Ask TOPHER, he just had the 9# flywheel installed and seems to love it.

flywheel is gonna be a little to labor intensive for me right now. im desperate for any little HP increase that i can get that isnt too much of a pain to put together. im looking into the obx header and then get that catless or high flow MP from wagner. I was just informed the other day taht DC sports is making a header for the P5 but isnt released yet. and cams im not doin for awhile till i figure out what exhaust im gonna run and get that done first.... im contiplating if it just might be worth the trip to the dodge dealer and look into a new SRT4....

Nah you don't want SRT4. Sure it may be fun for the first year or 2, but then what good is a broken down Dodge for the next 10? Your Mazda will last forever!

Thanx for all the responses (except those that flamed me about the rad cap). Unfortunately, my g/f has decided to go the "new car" route so we will be getting the new mazda3 instead...

very good! I've seen stock 3S's outrunning stock msp's here. Very funny to watch the guy in the msp not be able to pull on the NA wagon.

D-man, let me know if you ever want a supercharger on that car. That new 2.3L is PRIME for an eaton blower.

What does the eaton supercharger go for, in USF or CND?

depends on what size you want and if you want a jobber. If you want a jobber they are about $1200 buying indivicually. If you wait for someone like me to make one for the 3 it'll be about $3500+usd.

p.s. jobber = do-it-yourself build unit

Hey D-Man, no hard feelings about the rad cap, we were just giving you a hard time man.
