Do anyone has the Indigo pully set and water pump / alternator pulley set on the car. How's the performance? I'm thinking to get these 2 set. And if you were me, which one are you gonna do first, the 2 pully sets that list above or the mazdaspeed in/ex cam + sr motor sport cam gears.

As the ecu, how about the "Microtech LT8 Standalone Engine Management System"?

thx a lot

yes and no. I'm the only person making superchargers for the 3rd gen pros....it's not done yet but should be soon. There's a big thread in the 3rd gen engine/tech section at the top...WOMP.

heh, just thought I'd give it a shot.

Also, I think Haltech has the most people that are familiar with Proteges tuning them. If I were to go turbo or S/C for my baby, I'd probably invest in the best.

true but I'm looking at ditching the haltech in mine for a E-manage Ultimate.....so....maybe Haltech is only the best because not everyones tried everything else yet!

well it looks like I'll probably be hanging onto it a bit longer. I quit my job last week and it's not a good time to be spending money so loosely....so i'll probably just tinker with the p5 alittle more and then when I settle with a new good job I'll make a switch. Now if the p5 were to sell soon I could buy the ms6 for the same payment as what I'm making on the p5 so it's a draw really. I guess I'm just really holding off just to see what happens.

Hehe, exactly why I'd probably go Haltech. Everyone's tried it and knows how to tune it correctly.
I'll probably get a megasquirt for my FC...someday. They seem to be pretty reliable for the rotary guys.

i've got a local buddy who is a MS expert. He's begging me to buy the hardware and he says he'll do the rest. I just dont know if the tune would ever be as good as a piggyback could be. I don't want to affect driveability for a little extra performance.

After thinking for a few days, I decide to do the pully sets and the cams. I want to put turbo so much but I know nothing about changing auto to manual (by the way, how many bar do 6 psi have?? I'm a asian guy that just came to American 2 yrs ago and I still don't know how to transfer bar to psi). I'll see if I can do a before and after dyno, if yes, I'll post them here.

p.s. I'm in such a bad mood right now, my car using NanKang NS-1 tires, they are just 5-6 months old but 3 of them dead already. The first one dead about a month ago, the second one blow up yesterday when I was driving 70 mph on the highway. And today blow up another on the highway again. WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING. I always check my tires.

if you're having severe tire wear problems you need to get your alignment checked out. You could have a suspension problem causing the tires to burn too easily.

Yup- without the camber kit on the Pro the S-techs do have the ability to do that. Reason why the FM901's went so fast- now I have Pirelli's on and wear is a little better, but I am in need of doing a camber kit pretty bad.

PS= How do you like the springs- I went with Basics full coilover setup, and I love it.
