Any Mazda Familia Owners on Here?

Peoples,
Am I the only person on here with a 1500cc Tiptronic Familia? Not Protege, Familia...anyone? Or am I all alone...I'll take some shots of it (when its clean) and we'll see...Mr. Lonely out.

Cheers...

I'm more blown away by the fact you have a 1.5L in a protege5 body. I'd love to get a hold of that engine over here and see what kind of potential it has. It can't have enough torque to get the wagon moving quickly right now.

I'm almost positive Amrit's got the 1.5L engine.

It could be a Familia sedan.

Well, its ok but i dont find the car is fast...i was expecting more from a VVT tiptronic machine, but it seems quite average unless something needs adjusting...sometimes when i move off it hesitates as if its cold and then surges forward...dunno...will post pics soon.

Hi Maurice,

You're defintely not Mr Lonely here I have a 2001 Auto 1.5 Mazda Familia Hatchback... Nice car but not much power to pull fast up hills... I will post new photos of it with the new RIMS and tyres that I had fitted ... TODAY

Cheers

Yep! I've got a familia! 1.5l and it does some awesome numbers for a 1.5l. As for the power of goin' uphill in mine, I don't think i have a problem there. I can get up to about 40-50km/h on a steep hill.

And maurice, that problem you're having with the hesitating, I'd get the injectors cleaned and see if that helps. I had that problem with my car many times before. We got some really bad gas here.
