New TO Here! HI! (w/ picture of my baby)

Hi all! I'm new to here. I got a 2003 AUTO Protege LX w/ some "extra" in it. here's a picture with the mod list

Tein low down spring
OBX header
K&N intake
Hayame cat-back for Mazdaspeed Protege (modified to fit)
NGK Spark Plugs
Enkei rims w/ NS-1 tires
HKS AFR (make my car always dead on the road, just took it off)
Apexi SAFC II (just know that it will never be able to install)
VIS CF Hood

next step
Mazdaspeed in/ex cam
cam gears
pully
ecu (the stock one is a junk, any good suggests guys?)
turbo(since I got a auto, I don't know what I should do, I was thinking to put a small one so it can start early)

Please give me some good suggests, I really want to add more to my car

If you really want to turbo it, look at the hiboost kit...also need to look at rebuilding the tranny with lentech , as the auto tranny wont hold up to more than about 160-180lb-ft of torque

Welcome. Love the B&W look. I not saying anything abt those fogs, though, lol.

HiBoost makes a great product but listen to the man above me, your tranny won't hold more than @6psi.
As for ECU, really the only serious options are full engine management...there are some nice ones out there...Haltech, AEM. You might wanna do a search on that.
Check out this link. It was started by macdaddy--I'm surprised he didn't suggest it himself!

yeah, horsepower wont break a transmission but torque will. Not that I like pushing my own products but if you're not a fan of your AC my supercharger will make more Horsepower and less torque than a turbo kit which means you'll have much higher top end without risking your tranny down low.

As for ECU's...it's pretty much an all-or-nothing deal. I'm personally going to speak with Greddy a little more about a possible sponsorship to install test and tune their new E-manage Ultimate on the protege. If it works well I think it will be THE EMS of choice since it's much cheaper than the haltechs and 1/3 as much as the bare AEM box. It also has more features.

Welcome to the forum.

i may be wrong but i dont think thats fog light on the front....looks like its only one side.if youlook into the hole it looks like an inlet to dryer tubing...maybe a ram air type application. but i could just be seeing things?
