Racing Beat has told me nothing was shipped recently to him or me. This means that Mitch is trying to STEAL $400+ from me. I have filed a complaint with PayPal and soon my credit card company should be after him.

NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM MITCH/PROTEGE5ONLINE.COM !!!!

HE IS A LIAR AND UNAUTHORIZED DEALER (for Racing Beat parts at least)!!

DO NOT TRUST HIM!
you think you've waited too long...i waited 3 months...thats right 3 months for my thermal exhaust to be shipped to me, i did get it and IMHO it was worth the wait

I donīt know Mitch, and have never ordered anything from him, so I can not vouch for him... but what I can say, is that you did not handle this properly gcs118.

It seems that you simply were not patient enough, and failed to realize that business transactions take time, and sellers are most of the time affected by many factors outside their control (like shipping companies, manufacturers, etc.).

Things take time... and just because he didnīt use the Star Trek transporter to give you the exhaust instantly, doesnīt mean he is dishonest. Heck... most things take "6 to 8 weeks for delivery". I think 3 weeks is a good delivery time.

Peace.

Ooohhh. Damn, apparently you jumped the gun. There are quite a few things one must understand about business before getting to hasty.

i've had this happen to me once before and in the end the client deeply apologized to me as well as publicly admitted being out of line.

He too spoke to Racing Beat alleging that I had sold him a used exhaust when the thing was never opened. Then when calling Racing Beat, found out that oil is used as an anti-corrosive. Basically, the moral of the story is that you should be careful in who you make defamatory comments towards. It could bite you in the butt.

Mitch as well as several others and myself have put out lots of money to get products made and available for the community. I know Mitch has full intention of staying in business for a long time and if he were acting fraudulent it wouldn't happen.

I am in the same situation a lot where the actual manufacturer delays shipping do to backlogs. Please support your community and it's vendors. Without the specialized vendors we'd all be in a lot of ****.

Peace and harmony has been returned. Your exhaust has been shipped, because I went to LA and picked the damn thing up for you on Friday as a favor to Mitch and yourself since Racing Beat will not drop ship it and I didn't have any.

We are authorized and I help mitch get Racing Beat. Check us out on the website. Automotive R & D in California. Mitch has bugged me quite a bit about this system but I had to drive 5 hours to get it while I was in the area so if there's anyone to blame it would be me. Mitch always has great customer service as can be seen.

Peace, Rishie

If it's going to take longer than the one week like he said, I'd like some kind of notice. He stopped responding to all of my emails when he said he would reply within a day. This made me suspicious first of all. And second, Racing Beat told me he is not on their authorized seller list and nothing was sent to Tennessee (his state) or Ohio (mine) recently.

Here is my response to his e-mail asking about delivery (which was the 27th..2 days before he e-mailed me threatening to cancel the order since he hadnt gotten it)

"Sorry, RB has been out of town for a show. They are now back & they are shipping the system to us & then we will ship it straight to you. It should take about 2 days to get here & then a few more to you. I"ll try to get you a tracking as soon as its inbound to you. Thanks for the patience. Glad you got the Injen in though!"

It actually took 3 days to get to Rischie (who was shipping it for me) and then weekend & it was going to go out Monday (just a few days after I told him it would ship last week) until I get the notice saying paypal had reversed the transaction. It has now been shipped in as timely a manor as we could due to the circumstances. I feel that he was kept informed of what was going on & has no reason for going through this action he felt the need to use. I am sorry that it took longer than expected but at the time I told you that they where ready to ship, they where. But when you paid 3 days later, they werent & there was nothing I could do about that.

So you decided to burn him for the $250 Injen, call paypal to snivel , and slander him over here. Cool!
You're a kook.

And I never tell anyone their order is going to be to them within the week. I know things happen to delay orders. Whether it be me finding a box to ship it, the Manufacturers getting orders out, holidays or delays in the shipping company. I've been doing online business for over 7 years & retail store sales for voer 10. I know to never promise a customer something that I dont know can happen without a shadow of a doubt. If I did anything to make you think you would have it within a week of paying for it, I am truelly sorry. But I am glad that at least half of your order made it to you within a week.

I have made a mistake and I regret doing so. This post was made out of anger and frustration, and I am sorry. Please disregard all of the above that I said. I was immature and a moron and now see that I made a big mistake. Sorry for any harm done.

This thread is closed. Seeing as gcs118 has apologized, and figured out that Mitch did not rip him off.. i'm not going to delete this thread as asked because it does show that Mitch is an authorized vendor, and hopefully in the future people can avoid this crap happening by just being a bit patient, and waiting for their parts.
